Bradley Wideman
Brad formed the Wideman Group when he saw a gap between “big law” with its exorbitant fees with significant overhead expenses and the needs of emerging enterprises. Having successfully worked as in-house and outside counsel at a macro-cap level–internationally and domestically–gives Brad a unique perspective on how best to support companies looking to leap forward from micro-cap to unicorn status.
Brad has guided successful acquisitions and sales of companies and their assets in excess of $100 billion dollars. Often in heavily regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and commercial cannabis, Brad is known for his pragmatism and focusing clients on the issues that matter. Experienced in matters involving U.S., Israeli, Swedish, Irish, and Dutch securities laws, he has handled diverse deals including staving off hostile tenders, negotiating sophisticated multi-billion financing and equity transactions, and managing international commercial matters as well as IP portfolios and related strategies.
He also is a serial entrepreneur as an owner of a successful real estate holding company and knows what it's like to walk in a startup's shoes. His greatest pleasure in law is to help build an enterprise as fractional general counsel–supporting the CEO and board’s collective vision and enabling explosive growth.
He is a graduate of Westminster College, with a degree in Accounting, and has an M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to his experience as in-house and outside counsel, Brad was a corporate attorney at two large international law firms.
Brad is licensed to practice law in Arizona and Missouri.
A devoted husband and father of three, Brad enjoys spending time with his family and is highly active in their various activities and/or sports. Brad and his family are Arizona State University hockey fans and season ticket holders who rarely miss a home game. He played college basketball at Westminster College.
